Run the installation command again, it sometimes takes multiple runs for it to download all the files. If it is takes about 2-5 seconds to "download" everything, then run it again

Okay, first off, GET OFF OF ROOT!

Second, run the command again

so i need to make steamcmd folder and to open folder and install all fine in?

Use a separate user, you should never be running ANYTHING as root (Linux Security 101)


Once you have created a new user and redownloaded SteamCMD to a folder that user can access, then install HLDS again. You might have to run app_update MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET ALL THE FILES

or just install and after when i put ./hlds_run give me no such file directory ^?
