Hi there,

I have an important problem about someone who is cheating on my server, he uses Aimbot, wallhack, speedhack etc... But, he changes his steam ID and his ip addresses all the time and I can not ban him. However, all his steam IDs start with 0.0:15xxxxxx and I learnt that it is from a cyber cafe program.

I have two solutions... First, I know that all his ip addresses are from this subnet: belgacom. I need to find a way to ban all the ip addresses which are from that subnet. Finally, there can be a solution in banning all steam IDs which come from cyber cafe program.

That cheater has his own server in the netherlands and he wants to empty the french ones in order to steal our players. Indeed, the name of his server starts with [FR]...

You have to fill the array yourself for now. Post the IP range you need to ban if you have any problems. I'll release this with file reading capabilities in the very near future.

Thanks for your answer, I have already read it. The ip adresses are more complex, I want to mean that he can use all kind of ip adresses which are from Belgacom.
His ip addresses are really different:
80.200.146.178
81.240.123.187
81.243.217.181
87.65.223.112
and more...

But all his hosts end with:
adsl-dyn.isp.belgacom.be

He just came back with this ip address:
87.64.18.247

I am not good in this area with viruses... But thank you for the idea.

If I were you I would ban his SID always when I see he is cheating. Sooner or later he will be out of SIDs due to everybody has one, constant SID.
But maybe there is a better solition.

Cyber Cafe program allows people to get an unlimited of steam ID... It is made, as it is called, for cyber cafe which provides steam IDs for its customers.

For the moment, I am using country kicker but I am stopping an entire country only for one stupid guy. Is there a solution to kick the steam IDs which are from Cyber Cafe Program? They all look the same...

I would assume banning STEAM_0:0:156______ - STEAM_0:0:1580000 would work...

In banned.cfg? The steam IDs are this type:
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:1:15693207
I just got an idea...

In using Excel,I can create a continious list like this:
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:0:15000001
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:0:15000002
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:0:15000003
etc...
Until this one:
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:0:15999999
I would do the same for
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:1:15000001
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:1:15000002
banid 0.0 STEAM_0:1:15000003 etc...

I would put all of them in a file called cyber.cfg for example and then put: exec cyber.cfg in my server.cfg
I would not allow people from cyber cafe to play on my server...

The prolem isthat I do not have Office anymore as I have just formatted my laptop.

However, I need someone to confirm that all Steam IDs from Cyber Cafe start with 0.0:15xxxxxx and 0.1:15xxxxxx

It would be easier to modify the IP range plugin to do this in my opinion. Thought I haven't looked at the source so I could be wrong.

I can easily write a plugin to stop anyone with an 8 digit SteamID starting with 15 from joining. Is that definitely what you want? You're sure that the information about the Valve Cyber Cafe program is accurate?

Edit: Having read your last post, you're obviously not sure. According to Valve's website, cyber cafes don't use Steam accounts. That doesn't mean what you say is false, but unless anyone can provide a reliable source stating otherwise, I seriously doubt that what you've heard is true.
