latest update broke my servers and i cant figure out why my consoles are rapidly spammed with

..\common\pipes.cpp (528) : Assertion Failed: m_OutstandingCallbackThreadId != ThreadGetCurrentId()

if i run the server without addons it doesnt seam to happen however the bug is not cause by only a single addon however for example [ANY|Source 2009] Advanced Advertisements is causing it. i already tryed updating sourcemod + metamod + steamtools + tf2items still no change. im using a windows server.

This is an issue with SteamTools and something Valve changed in the latest version of SteamWorks, which has been pulled in because you have Steam installed on the same computer.

so the only way to fix it is by uninstalling steam or just using a plugin to remove that spam?

I had this problem too.
So I moved sf2 to steamworks extension until a fix.

He means recompile any plugins using steamtools against steamworks instead (the API SHOULD be the same).

it also seams like all my servers dont have a connection to the item server anymore

Yes it's a side effect of steam tools, you have to move to steam works.
And recompile all plugins with it.

Does that mean getting the source of every plugin and have them use steam works?
