no a better forward that get called only when a grenade has been thrown, not like FM_SetModel which will be called for every entity.

Maybe something like this:
Hook Ham_Spawn "grenade"
Inside it, register FM_SetModel
Inside it, do checks, if it's grenade throw do stuff, unregister FM_SetModel
