I've been trying to make a button on the map glow by using this code:

set_pev(iEnt, pev_renderfx, kRenderFxGlowShell)
set_pev(iEnt, pev_renderamt, 40)
set_pev(iEnt, pev_rendermode, kRenderNormal)
set_pev(iEnt, pev_rendercolor, {0.0, 255.0, 255.0}) 


... I tried many different renderfx modes and all I managed to do is make it completely invisible. I want to make it green for example. Is this even possible?

It's the first thing I found and tried right away. It has no effect on the button.
