There should be a wad file that you can add. It should display all the entities and parts of the map

You don't even need to decompile the map, you just need BSPE or Ripent.

Edit: Actually took a minute and 24 seconds

Also a PM isn't required. You can use this plugin to remove the entities that are making the map "protected" https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=74680 OR there is a plugin around here that you can edit to do the same exact thing and "require" that plugin to be used, although any user can do the same.

Examples:
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=931461
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=990497
Yes, you get the map to run or let's say "open" but what you have done is just nothing because you didn't even get the actual map content (because what you have done is literally deleting it's content and adding up spawns/light instead of getting the actual content) which is absurd. (unless you are willing to rebuild it yourself)
Compare this to the screenshot that you posted https://imgur.com/a/qGnfdL0
also wad files are texture files, it has nothing to do with showing entities of the maps or not.

His philosophy makes no sense and is missing a lot of details related to the answer I'm looking.

as I said before, decompiling a protected map gets you nowhere to the actual thing.
for example compare this log to the one he posted

Yes, the map needs to be read by both the server and the client, but there is still a way to prevent people from using a map that you own by doing something to the map, which I keep for myself.
once that thing is done, the map can't be decompiled, opened by viewers or played by anyone else other than the map owner.
an example of a protected map, you won't be able to play it or even decompile it: https://www.mediafire.com/file/cqb3i...eborn.rar/file
I do not know anything about making maps or editing them but I think Drugzog proved you wrong.
You said a map can be protected and we (yes we because I agree with them) say it can't.

nothing was proved wrong here.
once again, what he played is a map ripped of everything, just the brushes that seal the map are there (textured).
which means you still don't get to play the actual map even if u get to decompile it.
I believe you can compare between both yourself.

So, you're gonna believe everything you read on the internet just because multiple people agree? Have you ever considered just searching for a tiny sample of evidence to approve?

I am good with maps, yet I do not know and did not receive any good answer in this thread, yet. People say that you can make the map work, yet they did not provide evidence NOR information, which is the main part.
