You can try to modify the plugin to use client cookies instead. (clientprefs)
The only downside is that if you have multiple servers, you won't be able to share the stats, but if it is for a single server, then you may be able to do something.
Probably will need heavy changes in the code either.
Things like TOP RANKING won't work with client cookies, then you may go for a key-value file solution.
