Hi

I search a plugins that disallow killing on surf_maps where CT's and T's could play. I searched but i didn't find anything.
The plugin I search shows a HUD-Message and there is a sound saying "Warning. Killing has been deactivated".

--------

I also search another Plugin.
"Terrorist Team -1000 Deaths"

------

I saw the plugins on the MSV-Gaming Surf-Server:
208.100.21.51:27015

Could you please help me?

This might have been a plugin exclusive to this server, as most servers have their own plugins that they wont or dont realease. But i think someone might be able to code something like it for public use.

I know that the UAIO plugin has a god mode option in it. I also know it has an exec plugin also in it. Actually it even allows it so when a player connects that it can execute a command on that player.

So, as a obviously very crude way to achieve what you are looking for you could set it to that on connect the uaio sets the connected player to have godmode for what? 1800 seconds for a 30min map and then also make it execute a psay to that client that *KILLING IS DISABLED* or something to that effect. I know this is kinda out there but when I have a problem I just try to figure out a way to fix it with other plugins since I cant code.

Agreed Timber, and that is possible, as i do the same thing, cause i cant code either.
But out of experience a lot of servers have codes that only they have to make their server "Different" From others.
Both are probable i guess.

Thanks to you two.

I believe that this two plugins are made by the server members or by the server owner.

I also found a solution with godmode -> the Surf-Management-Tools.

Does anyone know what's the best way to get started in coding plugins. Are there any tutorials? I just know the Amx-Studio as a Editor. I also know that all the plugins are written in C++. I know C#, J#, PHP and JavaScript so I think it coulnd't be so hard to join coding C++. Especially because i just changed a few things in some plugins for my own.

edit:

ah...i just watched into the coding-forum
but does anybody knows some better thing about coding plugins/c++?

Actually, AMX Mod X plugins are coded in pawn which isn't too different (just simpler) than C/C++. MetaMod plugins on the other hand are coded in C++.
