Hi erryone,

So my CS:GO server, when switched to Dust 1 or Old Dust 2, crashes. The weird thing about this is it only SOMETIMES crashes...

And when I say crash, I mean my normal var of 0.001 (bottom right):

Rises to like 20+... This causes the server massive lag and eventually crashes and restarts on the first map of the cycle (Mirage).

To obtain these maps I simply went to the workshop, subscribed to the 2 most popular versions of de_dust and de_dust2_old, and then took the .bsp file from my local workshop folder and added it to my server. I then added it to my fastDL and it while it worked fine the first time (as I said, it only happens some times), the var raised and it crashed the second time...

Is anyone able to help me out here?...

EDIT: I should have mentioned that this happens to everyone on the server, whether it be 5 people or 20 people, their VAR will raise to 20+ and then eventually crash and restart at Mirage

Sometimes when you try to take a map off the workshop like that, you end up with problems. Try integrating the workshop map itself into your map cycle and see if the problem persists.

What do you mean integrating it in to the cycle?
I've never heard of any problems with other servers in regards to this?

Use the actual map from the workshop as opposed to taking it out and then putting it on the fastdl.

I have personally had problems with it.

But how do I run a map from workshop directly on to the server? I thought the server must have the map being played on it?

no, if you use a workshop map, the players will subscribe automatically to that map

Just put the map into your list of maps as "workshop/<numbers in the URL of the workshop map>/<map name>".

workshop/779296053/blackgold

That would point to this map. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil.../?id=779296053

Or whatever it is
