That would only happen if you were re-readying every round. Change it to reready only once a map.

I have direct remote access of the server & in total control. mdmp's are created, just not for this instance. Still to test again.

Ok so I'm having similar problems as mentioned above. I'm using the TWL.cfg on a Velocity hosted server. The configs execute fine but no restart occurs to start the ready up process.

I've tried and reinstalled (plugin and entire server) multiple times to no avail.

Console lists both l4dready and downtown as running.

Also, after executing the ready up script the server will become unstable. It usually will crash on a map change that ends with a tank killing an entire team. Also seems to happen when finishing up BH 4.

A server restart WITHOUT trying to enable the plugin will allow the server to function stable.

The better question is, why isn't it restarting the round for you at all? Check your (Error) logs in /left4dead/addons/sourcemod/logs

I'll also take a look at the mdmps of course, but I'd prefer that the basic functionality was present.

EDIT:
The file errors_20090503.log (in the zip) is from a test I did yesterday after Velocity closed the support ticket and verified each plugin/extension was loaded.

I ran the TWL.cfg to enable the plugin. After it failed to restart and prompt ready I rebooted the server.

That error was from AFTER the the console dump posted previously. The console said the plugins were loaded, the error log apparently disagrees.

It was from yesterday just after the Velocity support ticket was closed.

Any chance to get the ready up menu/listing disabled when you pull up the admin menu? I was trying to do something via the admin menu and it kept constantly going away as the ready up menu popped up, I had to do it all real fast to finally get the admin function in.

I actually tried doing this before, but I couldn't get it to work quite right (I tried detecting if a panel was being drawn, and not drawing anything if one already was... I think this had the problem of detecting my own panel being drawn and refusing to draw every other time though?), so I shelved that for a while to concentrate on more important things like breaking bug fixes.

If anyone has a code suggestion that would take care of the aforementioned problem, so I can save myself some time and get this up in the next version, I'm all ears.

K so now I have a problem that I can't quite figure out.


We use "generally" the same configs as CAL just modified for the league were in(UGC).

Now we moved to a new server and had to fresh install everything. But for the life of us ready up will not work.

Here's the specs I can give you and the problem at hand.

Those are the only plugins loaded at the time of using readyup.

The crashing is sparatic. Sometimes in the middle of the map, sometimes at map change, sometimes at the beginning of the second map. I ran the config and ready up over 8 times and through 8 times I did not find one consistent crash through them all. Sometimes it would crash, sometimes it wouldn't. About 6 out of 8 times it crashed.

The server is Windows Based. Sourcemod Version 1.2.0 and Metamod:Source 1.7.1


I know for fact this worked on the lastest snapshot last week on Sourcemod 1.2.1 Dev.

No Error Logs are produced and no .mdmp files are made either. The server creates .mdmp files too.

I can't quite figure it out as the crashing is random. I have tried multiple ways to remedy the sitution. I.E. Removed the pill cvar's(thinking that the health pack spawn is a seperate entity then pills and that the director was crashing cause of that)

If it's any consoloation I think the server doesn't crash but reverts back to vanilla state. I can't be 100% on that though as our restart and our vanilla timeout through hlsw are the same time.


Wait I had that reserved slots problem...even though the cfg unloads all plugins except the ones mentioned....why is that?
