To bind the "V" key to do what you asked:

actually this doesn't work that well if in the case of not having enough points it'll still bring up the last menu choice.

I believe ive asked this question before if i remmember correctly Mcflurry said it allows you to use the old style points where you type !usepoints instead of !buy. + you can use shortcuts like !buy health or !buy tank etc...
