hi,
i tried to search for a resgen which i can run under linux but found nothing there...
i tough maybe has anyone a generator for linux.

i want to make a res file and link all the needed files for download. ( maybe has anyone better idea to do it )

I don't know of any made for Linux. You undoubtedly you have Windows so just use it to get the file then you can use the file however you wish to do so (parse it with php if you want to do it dynamically.

hmmm.. the problem is i have many maps on the server and this will take time to do it so. but i think its the best and only one way to do it

You should already have .res files for your maps so you should just be able to copy them from there. If you don't then you could write a batch script to do all the maps at once.

My guess: the maps you have on the server are already in your own maps folder, right?
Just mark 20 or 25 at the same time and drop them on resgen.exe. That shouldn't take tat long to do that with all maps. Sort them for file-type and there are no other files disturbing.

I've never needed to do more than a single file at a time but drag dropping multiple maps is super simple. Good thing to know .

hmmm i tough i have to rename .res files to .php...
and next problem : there are more members which has ftp acc and they upload maps on the server...hmm

oh than its done.i tough this will not work with parse and a .res file

I would guess that it's probably blocked by most web hosts. You should either google it or ask your host.
