i searched but found nothing.

is there still a plugin to do the maps in mapsmenu in categories?
if not i have to do it by my self.
the problem is we have about 680 maps in the list and admins have to search about 1-2 min for a map.

this is the plugin which showes the maps for admins and not maps to vote ^^

by map typ.
example :

1. de_
2. cs_
3. fun_
4. aim_
&...

in de_ willbe listed all de_ maps
in cs_ willbe listed all cs maps.....

but dont forget, i mean mapsmenu and not mapchooser.
this could be realy good for multimod servers with many maps like mine.

you can see, its realy hard to find a map in the list when you as admin want to change the map

1. Of all people, you've been here long enough to know to post that as an attachment.
2. Considering your map groups (if they are actually correct in your post) are inconsistent you will need to make a config file to manually group the maps. But, that means that you have to maintain two files with all the maps.

i tough about something to replace the original mapsmenu.
my maplist was just an example to show how hard it is to search for for example de_dust2 in the list.

i tough about a menu with fixed prefixes and after this to make the menu with all maps listed in file with selected prefix.or do fixed prefixes with any defines.

idk something like :
new map_prefixes[][] =
{
"de_",
"cs_"
}
<< users can manualy add more prefixes.

after this show the menu :
1 . map_prefixes[1]
2. map_prefixes[2]

and when choosed 1, find all maps in file which begins with map_prefixes[x]
you know what i mean ?

i think with this methode we dont need more files and we could just replace the original mapsmenu plugin.

am i wrong?

That is the method (well, similar) that I was thinking about until I actually saw the maps that you posted.
