When did he get rid of the kac_namecopy thing that prevented people from copying other peoples names?

Yeah. add back kac_block_namecopy from kac 1.9 and add logging if a player tries to execute a command that is blocked. Like "Player tried to use a command that was blocked". Right now it only logs the command if the player spammed it untill he was kicked.

Please do not post a modified version of my plugin and then tell people to go get support from my site.

I do not support modified versions for obvious reasons.

Anyways, I'll post my own plugin thread again soon with proper documentation and directions for support.

The name copy prevention was removed because people with small names caused lots of issues. Plus with the recent changes to how names are handled by OB games this presents challenges.

I'll meet you half way. While I've reviewed the code and don't see how any issue could come from having the network disabled, I'll let them post the issue here first and if it's due to the network being disabled, I'll handle it. Otherwise, I'll send them your way.
