Hello,

is there any way to test a plugins effect on the server's resources (cpu, network traffic)?

The admins I write plugins for are getting worried that too many plugins will slow the server down and I want to assure them that it will probably not even be noticable

Yes, take a baseline of the performance with the plugin(s) not running and then another one with the plugin(s) running. Then compare the 2 baselines. It also helps if the server is fully populated at the time the baselines are taken
