Working fine here, only thing that broke were some signatures for Left 4 Dhooks. Everything else still works fine.

Is it just me or the group server list and favourite tab on server browser no longer work?

EDIT: Its locked to sv_lan 1 WTF!

guys VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) is broken on Windows Servers my friend who is hosting with NFO server will only start INSECURE but mine starts with VAC just fine and mine is on linux

Prior to this latest update, my L4D2 dedicated server was working fine. Besides the left4dhooks issue, I also see the following on the server console...

Code:

Unable to load Steam support library.
This server will operate in LAN mode only.

...and if a client attempts to connect they get the error...

Code:

Error: Local games are limited to Class C networks

I can <connect ip> using either the private address or with the public IP address (with hairpin), and as mentioned, prior to this update everything was working fine.

Any idea what is causing this issue?

Mystic Spiral is your OS Windows or Linux?????? as the post I already mentioned Windows Servers have broken VAC2 and start in INSECURE mode with the Class C LAN Only bug

Missed your post...I think I started typing the message before your post, then got distracted and came back later.

At any rate, I guess that means wait for Valve to fix VAC and my server is unusable until then?

Another messy update. I do like all the bug fixes and new VScript functions though. Hopefully, this whole mess can be sorted out in the next few days.

LAN servers always have VAC disabled, VAC isnt the issue.
