i don't see any tutorial how to configure and install this mod, can someone create a tutorial step by step how to make this? because it's hard for newbie (like me) to install this.

When the project get finished I will do an only one .exe that install everything. At the moment take in consideration it´s only a "project".

Anyway installing sourcemod and later on the vpks would be enought to play.
Other things as honorcode´s method requires a little more effort, but the rest are very easy.

Install sourcemod, then supervesus (or other to allow play more than 4 survivors) and copy the vpks in addons folder.

Yeah, the l4d survivors arms are definitely not working for me anymore, I don't know what it is, but it just plain stopped working one day.

-Play in Singleplayer, no versus, no mutations.

-Make sure you are using the correct VPK link in the first page.

-If you had pak01_dir edited, maybe you must edit it again.

Tried all of those...Not working for me, i even checked the scripts and they seem in order...Must be valve screwing something,

Oh it only works in singleplayer?

I had first tested this on my server on versus mode, and it worked fine, I could see all the original survivor's arms fine.
The next day I went to play versus and it did not work, I think the game may have been updated. Now the arms aren't working on versus what-so-ever, I'll try it on singleplayer now and get back to you with the results.

*EDIT* Ok, I tested it, now please bear with me:

When I connect and I start on survivors, the arms work fine for myself and my friend who also has the .vpk, when someone else that does not have the .vpk starts as survivor, the amrs don't work for anyone. So I'm guessing that the arms only work if someone who has the .vpk installed starts as survivor.

The arms come with l4d2.. didnt know that. so i used the arms from l4donl4d2 and it worked fine .. im going to try a new method.. that works in multiplayer.

OKAY!
I got the arms to work in multiplayer.(tested in coop only)
Download the vpk and put it in your ADDONS folder. Also put it in your server's if you have one.

If you put it in your server, you might want to get the plugin I attached to make clients auto download the file. You can modify the plugin and it may help in your modding

Take note that clients have to restart l4d2 in order to view the effects of the vpk.

Additional information:
You can use cvar sv_downloadurl to set where you want to download from(webserver). Leave it blank and clients will download from your server
