Works nicely on my server, but i did replace the regex with my own.

((?:\\d{1,3}\\.){3}\\d{1,3}|(?:[\\S]+(?:\\.(?!\\d)(?!\\.)[\\S]+))) (Replace \\ with \ if you do not use it hardcoded in the plugin or want to test it elsewhere).

This filter is a bit aggressive, but it catches anything that is connected like websites would have been including IP addresses and removes it outright. So anything connected by a dot without additional spaces gets removed with this regex.
