Hello evertone, I'm running a csgo JailBreak server on a linus machine. The KVM VPS has 8GB RAM and 4 cores of 4 GHz.
The average online players are 20 and usually the server process uses 100% cpu usage so the server varies gets very high. Since I see I can't solve this problem cause csgo is single threaded I am looking for a good host (with a good dose protection!) What can you guys recommend to me? Maybe which ovh server?

You should add your preferred server location and maybe budget.

I'm from Italy, an European host could be good.
Budget ~0-50$. Actually now I pay 30€ but I think it's too much. But if I have to pay for a good server I can offer more

Buy a vps/vds and pay a whole lot less, have full control of your server AND be able to install multiple servers. Requires more knowledge but very easy nonetheless.

He is using a kvm vps at the moment which does not provide the performance he is looking for.
Also vps/vds aren't that great for csgo as many run on cpus with high core count but low clock speeds.

Been running a vps from nfo for a couple of years now and they perform well on all the games we have. We even run 4 cs:go servers from one box alone.

@OP: Try a different host then. Rule of thumb is usually 1 core per server, and RAM usage is typically lower on linux than windows (as mentioned above)

Well yes but nfo is more focused on game server and there are rarely players on your csgo server.

And again, they work well.

Currently we don't have much players, but even when we did a few years back, our servers held well. Not sure what your argument is here, he just needs a better host in general. Why one server utilizes 100 percent CPU usage is ridiculous.

We use vps from a vps-provider also (not gameserver) and everything is fine (since 20 years with upgrades)…

The Server we have from a gameserver-Provider works very much worse than the others….

As DruGzoG said you are free to do what you want on your own Server if you have the time administrate it by your own...
