Hmm i can't get the plugin to work. I put the smx file in the plugin folder and the translations in the translation folder.

I also already put the geoip in and overwrite the previous one.

Sorry im kinda noob.Im not sure if i did anything wrong.Am i suppose to put the smx and the translation only? or i must put the sp folder also. Can someone tell me exactly which folder to put in them. And also for the geoip thanks.Im using this for l4d.

and how do u check the server os and what you mean by mod?

I have a problem with the plugin - if a person changes his name after connect, the chat is spammed with change messages infinitely until the player drops. A bit annoying. Anyone else seen this?

Can I prevent it by preventing people from changing their names somehow?

This is sourcemod 1.2.1 snapshot.

Edit: Sorry, I re-read the first post and saw that it's a known bug. Is there a workaround for that, like for instance preventing people from using the in-game name change command?

Edit2: Supposed to be fixed in 1.1.1 which I'm using. A problem with unescaped characters in the compare function? I have had users with funny chars caught in this loop (^ and a bunch of others)

Here are the errors on sourcemod 1.2.1 build 2698 and country nick 1.1.1

I join the server, use name to change name and sm to change map and BAM - infinite loop. I modified to get the current name from the event instead of the new name and as you can see it somehow gets corrupted in the beginning, so the comparison against the flag name will always fail. I addes some debug printouts as well.

I will try to look at this this coming weekend. As a temp fix, you can simply comment out the line 45 "HookEvent ...". This will at least remove the infinite loop.
