I came up with this idea by looking at the way maps are handled right now. Basically you have your basic mapcycle and if something empties the server its up to the admin to change the map.
Basically my idea is a mod that would keep track of the nr of players online and ajusting mapcycle to that.
For example if the server would be 40 slots and halfway filled it would run on a basic map cycle. The catch would be that when it does fill up to 40 the mod would change to a different mapcycle.
The opisite of this should also be the case, lets say you are running a brandnew custom and the server is emptying out very fast, wouldnt it be nice if a mod would autochange nextmap to a popular basic map?
Eventhough im no scripter i cant imagine this being a complicated script, just a playercounter and a way to manage or modify the mapcycle real time.
Hope someone is interested... seems to me cs:s could use a somewhat more sophisticated way of handling mapcycle.
