what should I make from this lol
it would of been ideal to fatch it for stopping cheaters getting multiple accounts.

so the Question goes:
Is there another way? for example metamod plugin?
through rcon ? new module? or has this been resolved through recent updates?

If this was possible, Valve would probably have some serious legal issues. People have been asking this question for years and it's always the same answer in the end.

ah ok thanks, that is good in that sense just too bad good people cant use it to cross reference information.
ive read that amxbans had some ability to tell if you where playing with the same mouse or not?
would that be possible and would it be possible to get hardware ID otherwise?(i.e. through forum, or lets say player database registration)

Okay, since you don't seem to understand jokes, let me put it this way.

Using server plugins only, you only have the ability to ban by SteamID, IP, or Name. NO OTHER METHOD IS AVAILABLE TO YOU.

lol I do understand the joke after u said that piece of code was, I just didn't test it and didn;t know what to make of it yesterday.

we dont need to Ban by hardware ID, getting the information is the question so a sql server can cross reference it and ban the person on steamid.

so can we get the hardware ID through amxmodx, no? can we get it through a forum? yes vamp you can make a registration form for people to enter their hardware ID so only admins can look it up.

amxbans had an mouse hardware indicator apparently so how does that work?
to us that would mean a additional tool to check if its the same person.
if the mouse doesn't match we look at other things to match like IP.
the more information you have and namely hardware ID the harder it is for cheaters to come with a new account infront of our nouses.
being able to tell if someone uses the same config would be another additional tool.
sadly IP is not enough these days, there are programs out to fake your IP as you got onto the internet for privacy protective reasons.

it is not as easy to create and have a good client program forcing a mass to use it.

otherways to variefy via an automated forum tool if its their hardware ID?
we use zetaboards. Ill have a look there later.

Why not just deal with the fact that you cannot gain this information without a client program?
