Great plugin but when i got a few people on my server it got really annoying after a few maps and i wanted to turn it off, but the only thing i could do was delete the smx from my plugins folder , so now no camo.
Any chance of giving us a console command to turn it on and off.

OK. Updated again


In console, type

Quote:
sm_cvar sm_camo_enabled 0
to switch it off.
Anyone who is already camo-ed will be switched back to normal.

For those of you interested in Axis/Allied spies and want to remove the overhead icons (so they aren't given away), remember they are client side and cannot be changed....
Those two models are good for players not paying attention....

Awesome job on the third person thingy. Another question, is it possible to get rid of the bad ragdoll error on death in console? Maybe set their model back to the original when they die, unless they've already died when player_death is called.

OK.

Pre-hooking player death was not soon enough to grab the userid. So I hooked player_hurt so that the player gets the original model back when injured or killed. This reduces the bad ragdoll errors in client console and often a contributor to crashes (well in ES anyway).

You can just check their health in player_hurt, and if it's <= 0 set their model back. Just tested it and it works.

Edit: oh, player_hurt doesn't fire when you change teams. So please hook player_team to a function without the health check

Spot on Strontium it works a treat put the commands in my BAT admin menucmds ini , so all the Admins do is bring up menu and they can turn the plugin on and off ;)
Oh btw i know this sounds obvious but to turn it back on is :-
sm_cvar sm_camo_enabled 1 ;)
P.S the allies axis model just great had some fun on kalt with that , plus a sniping tree

I hope we will have a full hide n seek plug in soon .

2 more suggestions...

1.) Is there any way you could make it server controlled on whether or not player_hurt makes them change back?

2.) Could you make it to where only admins with a specific flag can "hand out" the selection menu through the sm_admin menu?
