What a shame.. this could have been huge. All that work rotting on someone's hard drive, if it even exists anymore.

He had some nice work on that stuff. Things like headcrabs that chased you around the map and exploded when they touched you and working sentries.

EDIT: Looks like there is some stuff posted on sourceforge. I saw screenshots of the sentries, but I don't know how much of the actual code is on the site. It looks from the description like he was just linking to the linux binaries. With the OB version of css having most of the symbols missing from the dynamic symbol table that method probably doesn't work any more.

I found this thread interesting as having NPCs in CS:S would be pretty cool.

Quoted from the CEntity Framework thread:

Does this mean one could almost copy NPC code from HL2, then add it to an extension and it would work? Or is it much more complicated than that?

As c0ldfyr3 said, the NPC code is all gone.
That means you would need to re implement them from the highest level with CEntity (and add hooks where missing).
While doable, it's just too-much-work.

Well the guy from World of CSS somehow managed to add NPCs, so it must be possible to be done..
You could ask them.
