[SOLVED]Geo-IP2 Reader Module missing (Perl issue?)

Hello there,

i got the following message in the logs:

2020-01-16 10:58:11:       127.0.0.1:60669 - ERROR: GeoIP method set to binary file lookup but GeoIP2::Database::Reader module NOT FOUND

I know, that i must install the module, and i installed it (with cpanm):

If i prove it:

GeoIP2::Database::Reader is up to date. (2.006002)

But still the same message in the logs...

Does someone have a Suggestion, what's missing?

please check prerequisites (1.5. Install Perl packages) - https://github.com/NomisCZ/hlstatsx-...-prerequisites

What Linux distribution do you use?

I doublecheck the packages now again and everything looks fine.

On every package i get

'already installed and latest version'

For the Geo2-Modules i get:

MaxMind::DB::Reader is up to date. (1.000014)

GeoIP2::Database::Reader is up to date. (2.006002)

Code:

Syntax::Keyword::Try is up to date. (0.11)

I use CentOS Linux 7.7.1908 (Core)

Perl-Version is:

This is perl 5, version 16, subversion 3 (v5.16.3) built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi
(with 39 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail)

PHP is 7.3.13

Issue still exists...
I found another entry in the forum regarding correct users and rights...

My Daemon runs as root (and the crons also) and the web-parts runs as webuser.

Could this be a cause?

Should the daemon run as root or webuser?

As i wrote before, all other things are working well...

Hi again…

Issue solved… unfortunately i don't know why exactly…

Maybe it was a Rights-issue (i controlled some and changed them),
maybe it was a hanging process….

After the last Restart of the daemon, the message is gone,
and i see the first mark on the map.

I think/hope, that the flags will be assigned correctly too
