I am unable to update my gamedata files. I was getting this error.

Couldn't connect to smupdate.alliedmods.net: Connection refused

I am on 1.1 and tried to replace the URL with that one. It gave me this error.

Couldn't locate address: http://www.sourcemod.net/update/

How can I get the latest gamedata files? Am I forced to upgrade to 1.2?

Reading the source, the entire url is http://www.sourcemod.net/update/gamedata.php

However, the original update location (for 1.1) appears to be working again: smupdate.alliedmods.net port 6500

They commited the gamedata fixes along with some other fixes just now. Update SM, either version has it but 1.2 is good if you have it.

I must be missing something here. I'm running SM 1.1, and I just downloaded the package and extracted the sm-tf2.games.txt file to the gamedata folder.

Upon restart, I still get:

Quote:
L 02/25/2009 - 21:13:13: [TF2] Sigscan for CalcCriticalKnife failed - Disabling detour to prevent crashes
SO...either the new/fixed file is not in there, it IS, but the problem isn't fixed,or I'm doing something wrong.

I would prefer not to have to update all 10 of our servers to a snapshot version, as I like to stick to release versions.
