Map2Server Downloader

With this Plugin Server Admin's can open a Menu with a list of custom map's and Download the Map's to the server from the Map Mirror Server

sm_mapdlmenu <-- console command to open this menu

The Plugin Download's automatic the Map List from a map mirror server on every Plugin Restart

this Plugin need's the Web Downloader Extension

convar sm_maplisturl the url where the maplist file is located (default http://fsrlp.de/)

the map file must be named like this maplist-cstrike.txt (maplist-<name-of-the-mod-folder>.txt

the contend of this file is formated like this:

"aim_ak-colt_v2" "no" http://mapmirror.2skillz.co.uk/cstrike/maps/aim_ak-colt_v2.bsp
"fy_iceworld" "no" http://mapmirror.2skillz.co.uk/cstrike/maps/fy_iceworld.bsp

"name of the map without .bsp (case sensitiv)" "yes if resfile availiby, no if not" link to the file

I'm not sure what situation you would use this, but I'm sure you can think of one since you took the time to write it

Does it just handle single .bsp files? some maps are broken up into multiple files (models and textures)

That 's a good idea, could you modify your plugins to download all sounds of the server.

I wonder if u can make them download client scripts ? Such as recorddemo.cfg.?

This Plugin is not for downloading files to the client, it's to download files from a "mapmirror" to the Gameserver

If you could download scripts from a server then that would be a glitch as Valve has tried to stop servers being able to control player's freedom. If this plugin lets people download a map while playing on the server so when the server changes the map they wont have to wait for it to dl then that would be cool.

I'll look into recoding it, with your permission, and releasing an admin based downloading plugin. It'll allow admins to download scripts, models, and maps. Thank you!
