Announcement

For anyone using r151 and up, I want to note that admins will now need unban access to be able to ban permanently. If you don't want your admins to actually be able to unban in-game, make sure you set Unban to 0 in sourcebans.cfg.

Import Admins from Mani Admin Plugin

This script imports all admins including their permissions, groups and servers from Mani Admin into SourceBans.

How to use:
  1. Edit the /cfg/mani_admin_plugin/database.cfg on your gameserver and fill in the right mysql data. (you have to create the database before)
  2. Restart the gameserver and write
    Code:
    ma_client upload
    in console
  3. Download, extract and upload this file to your webserver
  4. Open the file with your browser and fill in the database information
  5. Normally a file called 'adminpasswords.txt' is created with all the generated passwords. If this doesn't work, SAVE the adminpasswordlist shown after importing!!!

Could someone possibly explain why, after upgrading to SM 1.0.4, Sourcebans:

1. Takes at least two map reloads to update the admins in the system (despite saying all the admins were loaded in the log each time).

2. Completely clears out all admins/permissions when "sm_rehash" is used

3. No longer generates a "sourcebans.log" file.

4. Now takes a complete server restart to update the admins.cfg file.

Hi there installed nicely.

A couple of questions I have though is - How do I get all my bans that are currently on my servers imported/ Or will it automatically do it at some point.

When i posted the databse files in it had my database as localhost should this be the ip to my webserver?

It generates a sourcebans.log for errors, if you actually want it to log information about who's banned and who isn't, you have to put the plugin in debugging mode. I don't know about the other stuff, I don't have any problems with SM 1.1. Does SourceMod have permission to write to admins.cfg?

I don't recall seeing that anywhere before. If not, how do I give it permission?

Make sure admins.cfg is chmodded to 644 or 766. You can do this through FTP.
