I'm not sure if it's CS:S DM but for some reason the buy zone doesn't work properly in a map. I can only buy an m4a or ak47 rifle. I'm pretty sure it's not mani admin plugin since all weapons are unrestricted.

Any ideas?

Ok, I uninstalled CS:S DM and the buy zone works properly now (I can buy all weapons).

Any ideas why CS:S DM does this?

Why would you want to buy a weapon in CS:S DM? Money has no meaning in DM. Plus, with custom spawns, you don't spawn in the buy zone. CS:S DM provides it's own weapons menu for selecting your weapons...as it should.

Well, I'm trying to create a surf dm server.

I'm using cs:s dm to let players select a pistol only at spawn and then be able to buy extra weapons if they manage to surf all the way to the hard to reach buy zones.

Good luck. I can't help you there. CS:S DM is not designed to do what you are asking. If some other server has the functionality you want, try to contact the owners. They would most likely have some custom scripting going on (maybe Mattie) or something like that. I bet some custom scripts via SourceMod could do this. Personally, I think surf maps are strange (no offense).

Well anyway, back to my original question:

Why is it when cs:s dm is enabled, players can only buy a rifle in the buy zone and no other weapons?

When cs:s dm is disabled, all weapons can be bought from the buy zone.

It's not an issue. CS:S DM blocks buying. If you want to enable buying, read the config file and change this line:

menus = ps

To be:

menus = b

However, CS:S DM won't show its own buy menu with that setting. It won't let you do both currently.
