Version 1.0.7

Includes:
  • Fixes from raziEiL[disawar] (translation+best position) & Figa (tank locking)
  • New cvar l4d2_movablemachinegun_showinstruction - Show a chat instruction when the machine gun is used. 0 = OFF, 1 = ON.
  • New cvar l4d2_movablemachinegun_collide - Enable colission for the machine gun. 0 = OFF, 1 = ON.
  • Added pt and es translations.
  • Removed the color lib and replaced it for special characters that changes the text color.
  • You can pickup the minigun with both SHIFT+MOUSE2 and CTRL+MOUSE2 *NEW
  • Fixed an exploit that causes a refresh on server's cvars if a different argument than 0 or 1 is passed to the sm_minigun command.
  • Updated sintax.

I got a bug: When I picked up a machine gun (ctrl + right mouse click), I can place down two other guns, which result in machine gun being duplicated infinitively.

Otherwise the plugin works fine.

This is a pretty cool plugin, kinda sad we can't have it transfer in between maps though. Movement speed also doesn't do anything, which would be a great way to balance it.

Edit: It actually is possible to move it in between maps, but on map reset it vanishes completely from the player holding it afterwards.

I'd suggest making the mounted guns impossible to pick up when overheated (those cvars can be adjusted anyway) and instead of a movement cvar, have players limited to walking only when holding it.

It's also very important to mention how being downed with the mounted gun leaves players completely helpless, an auto drop would be very nice.
