rofl, then what would be the best way to change this? Guessing there's something inside sm_downloader that limits it that I can modify, so I don't need another plugin doing all this.
And if I understand you correctly, this isn't the thing causing my precache-error, right? It's just a character limit on the console print if I'm not completely wrong. Though I've never actually seen the .mdl ending on one of those errors. The longest I've gotten is

But basically all my models have a long path so it would be weird if this is a known thing and model-creators hasn't modified it to fit.
It also downloads the file normally, no matter the path-length

Okay i will forgive you if your first language is not english.

This has nothing to do with sm precache or the precache code i gave you nor is it due to the model creators.

It is to do with the plugin your using to change the model with.............................

That might be a wee bit difficult, since he died.. :/

Changed the skin-chooser plugin to sm_skinchooser and trying to get that plugin to work instead. Sadly it seems like that plugin is broken

This simply means like the message says , that the model you're trying to set does not exist/the path you have written is not correct. Check your inifiles and make sure it exists on Game- and Fastdownloadserver.

My English is bad. I have a Day of Defeat Source Server. This game made unofficial restrictions on all skin and texture files are stored. Only copy to "custom" in this folder. Games can be called. But any file downloaded from the FDL. It will only be saved in the "downloads" in this folder. In the "download" in this folder. Only map file. Other files are not directly game. This is a limitation made official. The problem arises. Although the players through the FDL file was needed. But the game can not be used directly

There is a limit of how much can be added? eh Ive had to move some of my materials into the models section otherwise my server would not start up due to this error above^
