I run my dedicated server with the following line:

./srcds_linux -game csgo -console -condebug -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 0
-maxplayers_override 16 +maxplayers 16 +exec server.cfg +mapgroup mg_bomb +map
de_dust -ip xxx.xxx.xxx -port 27035 +sv_lan 0

Why in the server console write:

mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27035 SV / 27006 CL

How to start the server as dedicated?

post to all the fourms for starters... srcds_linux IS the dedicated server so tell me how its not dedicated?

Have represented this problem on your servers?

What are the aspects to be taken into account when installing the server?

Forgive the insistence, purchased the license for the game and not using it is
a headach.

We can not see it online, only locally.

you dont need a 'licence' to host a server... like i said srcds_linux IS the dedicated server.. thread closed

Is the IP address a private IP?

Private IPs are in these ranges:
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
127.0.0.0 - 127.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255

None of those addresses are Internet-routable and may be causing srcds to be set sv_lan 1 automatically.

The flag "-console" is ONLY used on Windows machines. This wont break anything by having it there, but it doesn't help with log spam.

Also you should fix all of the:

and more... It looks like these are not valid commands. I have to guess that your server.cfg file is a mess and you probably copy pasta'd it from the internet somewhere.

These invalid convars are remnants from L4D-game.
Most of those convars locate multiple config files, but not in server.cfg. Some are executed by server.
So better leave those and not to do extra work...

cs:go game already "incoherent" with gamemode txt files.

do you call that line in a bash file? if so there's more to it like keeping it alive even after closing the console; is it spawning some process, or more?

and yea, most imp is static ip and port fwding (to make it an internet server instead of lan server), if you're not using a host but hosting it from your own pc

Server ports on the firewall are open, we use the following rules:

i think wan ip means dynamic and srcds requires static
for ports, a simple 'srcds ports linux' google should help you.. http://www.freenerd.net/index.php?ti...BLES_for_SRCDS
same for configs like server and autoexec, i guess; or search match server configs cus those usually have better rates and such; or you can play some existing servers in the desired location and with the desired slot number and ask admins what settings they use
