Try this version? If you were using my old fix that won't work anymore, as funnily enough the 2 byte short jump got changed back to a 6 byte jump so in theory the original version from before should work.

Eh I mean...I hate the back breaking updates as much as the next person but if I remember one of the Valve devs (Kerry I believe) gave an interview right around the time of the TLS DLC and he said they have zero plans for a L4D3 and instead plan to continue updating this game. Basically saying there was obviously a time where L4D3 was a thing but decided to continue with this game despite all the time passed.

So that quiet period between Cold Stream and TLS seems like its over. Unless of course people continue to attack and harass the TLS team (by extension Valve) over the poor quality of said updates. Then I guess they might just stop updating the game content wise again.

Then again, people still complain about what happened between L4D and L4D2. No doubt, L4D played smoother and still does today, despite L4D2 being far better in every other area IMO. That said, I'm not willing to worship Turtle Rock the way others have over the years. They completely dropped the ball on Evolve, then Dead By Daylight basically took the mantle and ran with it. Even if I can't stand DBD IMO. There is no guarantee their new venture will be a great thing just because of the ancient L4D Beta.

Point of mini rant being. I'm ok with updates, as long as they push occasional content alongside it...but JMO. I realize many around here would be ok with them basically leaving the game in the dust again like they did between Cold Stream and TLS simply so everything rides smooth in the sourcemod community.

I don't think it does, mine is I think a super ancient version from years ago, don't remember exactly when since I don't have the original anymore after modifying it.
