hey I'am owner of a cs server, but there is a problem connecting to the server via HLTV, basically i first tried and it was saying some different problem i dont remember, then i found on google that you need to enable sv proxies, and i did that i connected to ftp and set sv_proxies from 0 to 2 on the server, but now it shows another problem:
Connection Rejected: Sorry, HLTV is not allowed on this server.
Why is this problem?

Sounds like a plugin is doing that. I don't think the server normally apologizes for not allowing an HLTV.

hmm then any ideas how to find this ... i really need HLTV on my server..

If you don't know what your plugins do then you need to start disabling them. I would first disable MetaMod in liblist.gam (restore the file to a normal server) and try so that you can make sure that it works with a vanilla server. This is a common troubleshooting practice. Then start enabling things until it stops being able to connect.

well i checked all the enabled plugins in plugins.ini, all of them do what i need so its not them but i will try to disable metamod like you said, gonna report back here..

Just to be sure, the server wasn't started up with -nohltv in the command line?
