Hello,
I have dedicated server proccesors E5504 x2
and a full server with 32 players takes like 10%+
cpu. There is any way that i can do that the server
will take more internet and less CPU or more
RAM and less CPU.

• the CPU is the engine that makes the computer and all its programs working.
• the RAM is the workstation of the CPU.
• internet isn't related to the CPU usage. it's related to the ping, fps and lag stuff, etc.
• avoid the bots, they are very resource intensive softwares.

IMO, what you are requesting isn't possible, because no part will make the work of the other.

You can try make server's consumption lower by lowering sv_maxupdaterate sv_minupdaterate sv_maxrate sv_minrate sys_ticrate, but keep in mind, that:
1) too low rates can make quality of gameplay really bad
2) HLDS is pretty ancient application, which don't have optimizations for modern CPUs
3) don't use too heavy plugins

Only the CVAR sys_ticrate affects the CPU. The rest of the rate CVARs mentioned by S0m3Th1nG_AwFul only affect the Internet.

@gilad700 you should set sys_ticrate to 150 not less and not more. Setting it high will result into a very high CPU usage.

RaHBeR, you're not fully right. sv_maxupdaterate affects CPU too, because server will have to generate less packets, than usual (most of server's owners set it to 101).

When you talk about lowering sv_maxupdaterate etc. Clarify consumption. Bandwidth/network or CPU/hardware related?

That's most likely going to make the game feel unresponsive.

Most cvar which affects CPU is sv_maxupdaterate ... sys_ticrate 300 max... sv_minupdaterate 10 sv_maxupdaterate 35 best settings for server with csdm, public u can make sys_ticrate 1000 sv_minupdaterate 10 sv_maxupdaterate ~90 because public dont take a lot of cpu/ram .. 1 server csdm+war3ft with 20 maxplayers = 2 public full 32/32 with no lag...

what plugins you are using ... it's strange that one server taking that much CPU ..

It might save a bit ram if you add the following, to the servers start line: -noipx -nojoy
It also might save some cpu if you add the following, to the servers start line: -noaff +sys_ticrate 333 -pingboost 2
And your server will run as smooth as silk.
