I didn't ask that to be satisfied, it was not a requirement, I just wanted to know new methods to check that.

Annoying? Yeah, it is really annoying to repeat it until some finally accept this simple rule.

Pure Steam-servers are vulnerable to this kind of sploits too, because many of those DoS-programs supports HLTV authorization type, which NOT requires authorization on Valve servers.
The only way to protect from it - set sv_proxies to 0.

unfortunately you still don't get it.
IF someone with a pure steam server would ask for help e would get te help he needs. If someone with a non-steam server comes along and asks for help, HOW should we know if his problem is related to steam or non-steam? Sorry, but noone here got a christal ball and can tell you wat the problem is, so we first have to rule out that it is a problem with any of the hundreds different non-steam versions, modules an other "patches" arond here that modifies everything of this game. But instead of writing all this most ere simply say the rule: non-steam = no support.


Oh and btw, if i would have this problem on my server i would ask in the hlds forums and not here, as this forum is still a forum for amxx and sm.
I hope you stop crying about that now.
