You need it if you run 8+ players, otherwise when all infected leave the server shuts down

i've never had that issue, ever. i only started using it since the new update was forcing it to shutdown.

it noone was on either side it was always forcing it to shutdown, thats what valve screwed. im using l4dvsinfectedbots for managing bots and cvar sb_all_bot_team, it works great tho

Does sb_add work on 1.0.0.9f?

Because it's having a error when I use sb_add on 1.0.0.10

i need sb_add too, is there a new version of 1.0.0.9 that has it?
in version 1.0.0.9f sb_add doesnt work
i have issues with 1.0.0.10rc3 - its adding l4d1 survivors as bots, and invisible bill that sucks

So on a linux server running L4D2 I can get 20 slots working fairly well with the occasional crash, but not too bad. However, anything higher (tested 22 and 24) gives a crash every map or every second map load. Its too bad. I hear this mod is more stables with windows though... can anyone confirm this?

hmm, wish the hell i could get more than 4 players onto my old coopy server.
I've done the mm698-9 and sm2943-55 and latest sdkhooks and metamod.vdf and taken off all plugins and tried l4dtoolz 1009-10 and all variants and left4downtown passing fix and stilll all the server can handle is 4 players plus spectators.

running linux at gameservers.com - /rant out
