I have all the PTB messages turned off
but they still show.......i cant figure out why

Code:
//----------
// Messages
//----------
ptb tellwtj      off
ptb announce     off
ptb sayok        off
ptb typesay      off
using with the French translation, could it be that using a translation bypasses the messages

(ur gonna say 'why are u using the translation if u want the messages off, but there could still be a bug with it right ?)

i'll try without the translation and see what happens

do you have the exec ptb.cfg line in server.cfg or autoexec.cfg?

Nope, wrong... it doesn't matter (or at least it shouldn't)...

Please enter "ptb status" to check the current status of all settings... If they are on then you probably have them in autoexec.cfg and haven't restarted the server. "autoexec.cfg" is preferred as it is only triggered at startup but if you want to make sure the settings are reset at every map change you should put it in "server.cfg"...
