I tryed to install MetaMod a several times but i cant get it worked.

Im using a GameServer that i bought at a host and i have only FTP acces to it.

I did upload all files to the correct folder.
I also wrote GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin in the gameinfo.txt file.

But meta still wont work.

I have also a deditacted Server on my computer. On this Server i had success with installing MetaMod but i used the Setup file not the zip file.
Please give me any advice, help mee !^^

What version of MetaMod did you install?

And did you use the *.so files? or the *.dll files?

I also have the same problem, although I haven't tried installing it on a local server.

I downloaded the sourcemm-1.4.2.414.zip file

I'm renting a server from Gameservers.com

They use linux servers so I created the vdf file that says this:

"Plugin"
{
"file" "../tf/addons/metamod/bin/server_i486.so"
}

I've placed the metamod.vdf file in my addons folder which is located @ tf/ipaddress/orangebox/tf/addons/


The reply from my server console comes back "Unknown command "meta".

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
