What REALLY would be awesome is if someone could make a plugin that allowed you to make your own server side achievements, like: 'Kill Jazz 100 times' or something. It then sends a line of chat saying that 'John Smith' has gotten <INSERT ACHIEVEMENT NAME HERE>. It then gets added to a webpage (similar to the VALVe stats page). There is a stat system called SLAUGHTERHOUSE that is doing something similar but the web based section hasn't been released and I'm not sure whether you can make up achievements. This would be an awesome thing to try and implement into a plugin. Anyone got any thoughts?

Making up the achievements could be easy. Just send the text to all players, and colorize it like the achievement text. Then just display the sprite above the player's head and play the sound around them.

We could probably use the standard SourceMod for that bit. How would we implement on how achievements would be made and stored?

You could track kills and deaths and such using databases.

We don't need to track JUST kills and deaths. We need a plugin which scans for particular conditions like, Person A slaying Person B (Admin) after they are dominating them and causing a revenge. It needs to display it on screen with the text, sound and graphic and then it needs to connect to database telling it that someone with this STEAM ID has done this and has gotten this achievement. It then needs to be displayed online using some modification of SLAUGHTERHOUSE or N1G-TF2-RANK or a completely new interface altogether!

Just to confirm for those reading this, Jazz and I had an idea a while back for some achievements on our server... most of them were either being slayed by an admin, or being an admin and slaying. Or killing a certain player a set number of times. Hopefully that clears up what we're after slightly.

Im writing something like this for what I am working on, but you cant really make something friendly for everyone to use. You can share base code for it, but not everyone wants the same achievements, etc, so not really something that can be released.
