That is because of the server upgrade for www.amxmodx.org. It is now on a 64bit machine and the compiler is 32bit (or was when this plugin was posted)

Just download the .sma and compile it yourself.

i'm running a won DoD1.0 server with AMXX 0.16
and i'm curious whethter this plugin will for for dod
as well, or if it's just for CS.

AND if it works, does it support the VALVEids of the
dod-retail players?

the valve ids are similar to the steamids, they are proved
some seconds after you start the connection to the server.
until it's proved its VALVE_ID_LAN or something like that.

works with dod and after some small modifications it works with
VALVEids as well.

anyways thanks for the people that made it work with AMXX and Steam,
that was a good base for valve-ids!

Could you use it to keep unwanted names off your server?

Does it do wildcards?

So you can keep people off the server with names like F & C or web addresses that inevitably end up being more trouble than they are worth by attaching the name to a STEAM_ID like STEAM_0:0:00000 or STEAM_1:1:1111111 or something?

I am not the original author so I really dont know and I have not tried,
I would suggest you give it a try and let us know.

so a person with bjz can use mytage1 and a person maybe bjzl can use both tags that would be awesome

You can...kind of,
Just list that person who can use both tags inyour amxx.cfg file.

example: Two Tags One User:

amx_protclantag "mytag1" STEAMID_X:X:XXXXX amx_protclantag "mytag2" STEAMID_X:X:XXXXX

example: Two Users Two Tags:

amx_protclantag "mytag1" STEAMID_X:X:XXXXX amx_protclantag "mytag2" STEAMID_Y:Y:YYYYYY
