In the changelog there is :

Updated cvarquery system to cvarquery2. This requires Metamod 1.19.

I cannot reproduce this on my machine and leon's parent post seems to offer an explanation.

Unfortunately, we can't revert to clientcvarquery1. The reason is that it's very broken and the newer system let us remove a lot of support code. The actual function is backwards compatibile, however, you must always have the latest version of your server software to use the latest AMX Mod X.

If you have an up-to-date engine/steam dedicated server (using hldsupdatetool or steam), and you are not able to use this function and get the noted error message, and you are using Linux, and have SSH access, I can debug your server. Make sure GDB, gcc, vi, and cvs are installed, then PM me with SSH access to your HLDS installation.

I'm locking this topic because I couldn't reproduce the bug and it appears the problem is from out of date servers. If you have a legitimate reason for getting this problem, you can PM me with the info above and I'll re-open the topic (even if you don't have Linux or SSH access).
