Hi guys, so basicly I have that server.. I did all the work on it and everything but the guy that owns it with me is the one that can restart it from the control panel. I haven't seen him in 2 days and the server needs update (unjoinable right now). I usually restart from the server itself but I just can't connect. Is there a way to restart or to crash/close the server from the FTP?

Yeah I got the restart working but my problem now is that the server dosen't autoupdate and I'm pretty sure theres nothing I can do with only FTP and RCON about that

If the solution I posted in the original thread and the solutions posted here don't work then there is nothing you can do to update the server.

if its a Linux server you could try and edit the srcds_run file and make it auto update on restart.

Haven't tried this though.

Yeah there was definetly nothing I could do.. thanks, a lot for helping out.
Btw good news, the guy came back so he updated it and I now have access to the CP so it won't happen again!
