Undoubtedly code must be easy to follow and hand down. After rechecking initial post it was discovered that the intended draft rushingly got recreated. I inadvertently omitted the portion that said most would disagree but I occasionally use the numbers as long as there is a comment about the substitution. I can't believe I recommended it.

It's a macro/defined already.
It's a macro/defined in AMXX 1.8.3/1.9, not in 1.8.2 which is the current stable build.

Appeared per your advise, is approved, is wrong, crashes servers and nobody has resolved it other than removing portion of code in a later post without heads up or file replacement on OP.
Approvers are not required and don't have the time to manually test each plugin before approving. We rely on user feedback, if no one reports a bug it will be approved. If someone finds bugs after it is approved, it is up to the coder to fix the bugs(obviously), but if he can not/is no longer active then the plugin can be reviewed again and eventually unapproved.
I can not go back to every approved plugin and see if it's broken or not.

Regarding that specific plugin, I'll take a look when I can. Anyway I can assure you it is not crashing because he redefined DMG_HEGRENADE. Maybe DMG_HEGRENADE requires some other members to be set up in order to work correctly. I will have to check what code is triggered for that dmg type.

Now let's stop posting off topic comments. Thanks.

You patiently help many. Thank you. File sizes, optimized code practices, trying to help with drivers, it's a thankless endeavour. You have helped me a lot. What about this fellow's mod? Do you have any feedback on the code and plugin itself for the author please?

It seems to be a copy paste from: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1681614 and it looks like you only added a different command instead of letting the plugin work with the default item, which I would not consider a significant change.

Moreover, you did not give any credits to the original author, this is not acceptable.
Can someone else take a look and give his opinion?

I honestly had no idea this existed. I complained to a friend about fps drops while nightvision was on, so he mentioned something about SVC_LIGHTSTYLE so I tried to look it up and ended up here https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Half-Lif...SVC_LIGHTSTYLE and here https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=214806 (among some other stuff explaining how it works)
from there I started messing around with it.

If I had known something like that already existed I wouldve credited the original author. If you think that this should be removed, remove it. Next time I will do some more research before posting a new submission.

(Link to BB.Os plugin has been added in the inital post)

Nightvision/Flashlight lag fix #2066

It's not a rip IMO. It was failure to search for existing plugin. Other opinions?
Showing what makes yours different helped. Author is misspelled.

It happens! Can you show the fps difference? Before and after on the screen prints on OP please and what hardware is prone to it?

Why? It doesn't work like that - "once you activate nightvision your FPS magically jumps". No. It just lights up the map, and doesn't drop your FPS while using it (as you can see from the screenshots that I've posted)
