External Chat Notifications

This plugin is a external talk notification script. If you have this installed, users with the "Access_Reservation" flag (a) will be able to toggle this command. What will happen is that all users with "Access_Reservation" and above will see a message saying that user is talking over Ventrilo or Teamspeak. CS:S support for right now.

Post all bug reports/ideas here and view current status here. Bug reports/ideas posted on the forums will not be taken. Use your forum user name and password to log in.

REQUIREMENT:

Min: Sourcemod Version 1.0.0.1094

COMMANDS:

For the client to do this they need to bind their Teamspeak or Ventrilo key to "sm_exttalk".

So lemme make sure I understand the purpose of this. Is it mainly so that when someone talks in Vent the other players will know who is talking? Because in my head I am imagining that admins can see a voice icon active to the right of the screen as if the player is talking in game but its really outside of the game.

No. Messages appear in the chat area in light green.

chat spam ftw! It should be possible to activate the in game voice icon without activating the voice chat.

I think you can only do colors already there.
