    This plugin lets servers customize the move speed of zombies.

    It requires the DHooks extension.

    Images
    Shamblers 3.5x faster
    Kids at 20% their normal speed
    Credits
    Maxovich for original idea and adding runner support.
    Flammable, overmase and Holy Crap for suggestions and feedback
    Cvars
    Turn the plugin on or off
    • sm_zombie_speeds_enabled [0/1]

    Zombies base speed multipliers:
    • sm_crawler_speed
    • sm_kid_speed
    • sm_runner_speed
    • sm_shambler_speed

    Random range to add to base speed multiplier:
    • sm_crawler_speed_plusminus
    • sm_kid_speed_plusminus
    • sm_runner_speed_plusminus
    • sm_shambler_speed_plusminus

    A base of 0.8 means 80% move speed, 1.2 means 120%, etc.
    A base of 1.0 and plusminus of 0.3 means randomly pick between 70-130% move speed.

    I have a suggestion, what about make this cvar to be able to have range? Let's say sm_shambler_speed "0.8-1.2", that will make random speed where min speed is 80% and maximum speed is 120%, in my opinion random variations of speed is interesting in terms of gameplay, regular shambler could be fast enough to mow you down or slow and easer to be killed. same with other zombie types.

    Interesting idea. Zombies have some natural variation in their movement speed already. I will probably implement this using another set of cvars as the +/- of the custom speed. E.g. "sm_shambler_speed 1.5; sm_shambler_speed_plusminus 0.5" would give zombies a random speed range of 1.0 to 2.0

    Added *_plusminus versions of cvars to allow range of random movement speeds (as suggested by Flammable).

    Thanks, now gameplay became more diversed

    I wanted to ask you, what's about setammo plugin i'v requested before?

    And can you make some plugin to make nms maps do not restart when 0 players on server, so i can join it, do something, leave server with 0 players, then come back and everything will be like at least 1 player was always there?

    Hello! After updating NMRIH, I noticed that Ryan 's plugin was hardly working.

    Version 1.5 is a small update for better compatibility with Difficulty and Mod Changer. Previously, the runners spawned during that plugin's runner-only mode would not be able to move.
