hello guys i have
super pc 16 gb ram core i7

and 100 mb/s download speed
and 20 mb/s upload speed
how to set my server rate ??

i have malti mod server
and im useing last hldj update (6027)

The maximum rate for HLDS is this:-

 sv_maxrate 25000
 sv_maxupdaterate 100
 sv_minupdaterate 4 


I calculated mine in THIS page and my net speed is 8 MBPS (A normal speed) and I calculated your rate it's same as mine and there is a message after calculating your rates:-

Data rate exceeded engine limit
Update rate exceeded engine limit 


It means there is no difference for me (8MBPS) with you (100 MBPS) because as it says Data and Update rate exceeded engine limit (You can't use more than those rates even if you have 1000000 MBPS connection, there is a limit for HLDS Engine and those are the PHP code at the top of my post).
So these are your rates:-

 sv_maxupdaterate 100
 sv_minupdaterate 4

that one settings i am using on my 32slot server, theres noone complains in past 5 existed surveys i did, mostly issues are client sided caused by users hardware either internet connection

in some cases setting rates by connection speed might be missleading, unless you use stone age 64< kbit connection, and my avg upload is 275mbit/s , also i have tested these settings with 100x lower connection speed, everything was fine.
