PermissionsSM is no must, it checks if it is installed and if not falls back to regular Sourcemod Permission. Probably should also make the shield permission working with CheckCommandAccess. Doing that soonish

Gave this plugin also a small update, 1.2.1 brings the missing shield spawn sound and command override strings.

I would love if you could suggest some features, as I think the Plugin by itself is pretty plain! Go ahead, post some!

Just a quick heads up that I have not abandoned this Plugin. Instead I added 2 Forwards for developers to hook into if they're interested

i love the shield but one thing I would like is to be able to disable the shield from dealing damage. The shield damage is a little op for my server setup.

Not sure if that's possible, I can see if I can do something with SDK_Hook's OnTakeDamage.

I don't get it. Can't you just use the medigun attribute for the shield?

It works.

Though I haven't seen it deal damage to players.

Did they change something? I tried doing that and on a pvp map the HUD meter for the shield never appeared.
