Changes in 0.7.9
  • Added qol_zombie_max_bash_distance:
    • Defines maximum distance that zombies will attack barricade.
    • Zombies could get stuck in a bash/abort loop with previous hardcoded distance of 32.
  • Added OnBarricadeCollected() forward to cooperate with Barricade Anywhere plugin.
  • Fixed Physical Mayhem issue.
    • Now calls CBaseEntity::SetCollisionGroup() directly.
  • Fixed prop unstick acting on items held by other players.

Changes in 0.7.10
  • Changed bow to use "sight", "unsight" and "sight_fire" weapon speeds (previously used "hip_fire").
  • Changed grenades to use the "charge" and "release" weapon speeds (previously used "hip_fire").
  • Increased max animation speed from 4x to 10x.
  • Fixed fire extinguisher sound playing if it was dropped.
  • Fixed bug caused by reselecting same weapon.

The bow is a little buggy when changing its attack speed. Sometimes it will play the firing sound twice or cut abruptly between animations. But now it can at least be made to attack faster/slower.

I have a suggestion, make it so fa_sako85_ironsights and fa_sks_nobayo uses original sound, because otherwise sako uses fa_mkiii sound and sks_nobayo uses beretta sound. I mean when you are shooting it's correct sound, but when someone else shoot it's incorrect sound.

I'm familiar with this bug yet haven't been able to fix it. The weapon and sound scripts look OK and trying to hook CBaseCombatWeapon::GetShootSound with DHooks doesn't work. Sorry, man. I don't know what's going on.

Changes in 2.0.0:
  • New release to work with NMRiH update 1.1.0.
  • QOL's weapon speed configuration system has been stripped for later release as its own plugin.
  • Added qol_dropped_object_collision_fix to prevent solid props becoming non-solid after handling them.
  • Added qol_count_infected_suicide_kill to award players a point for suiciding while infected.
  • Added qol_func_breakable_player_damage_fix to stop func_breakables from damaging players on touch (glass roof on Brooklyn, vent in Fema, etc).
  • Added qol_zombie_prop_exploit_fix to prevent exploit where zombies won't attack when an object is held within their hull.
  • Added qol_zombie_prevent_attack_backwards to prevent zombie swipes damaging players standing behind the zombie.

Deepest thanks to the NMRiH devs, Bubak3 and Felis, for making some QoL fixes part of the vanilla game!

Also in the readme you have the convar "g_qol_grenade_rise" twice when the second entry should be "g_qol_grenade_sounds".

Thanks for the report and taking the time to make a video, mrpeanut. I'll get a fix out ASAP.

Edit: I'm not able to recreate the crash. Tested many times on different maps in a Windows dedicated server: joined server, disabled QOL, punched wall with charged and non-charged strike, enable QOL, punch wall again, nothing. Changed levels and repeated. Everything seems to be working ok

Server version: 1100
Metamod:Source version: 1.11.0-dev+1099
SourceMod Version: 1.9.0.6225
DHooks version: 2.2.0-detours6

Do you want to check the versions of your files to compare with mine? Maybe the old gamedata was never overwritten? I don't know what else it could be

Thanks for the help... I accidentally deleted my config folder and had to completely reinstall but on the bright side it's working now. Cheers and thank you for this!
