Hello!

I would like to display my webpage in a MOTD window, but insted of the webpage the window shows a -113 error.

Photo:

The motd.txt contains the following:
HTML Code:
<html>
<head>
<title>HUNGARYCS</title>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=https://hungarycs.hu" />
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
My webpage use CloudFlare DNS and redirect. With HTTP protocol the same page shows properly.
What causes the problem?

Remember that the MOTD Is not a full-fledged web browser. To change that, Valve would have to implement a better web browser.

Did you take the time to read it to the end?

Well, you got the answer there, HTTPS. SSL certificate conflict, CloudFlare system assuming it's a threat, who knows, I'm not an expert.

Yes, I know this is a very basic browser, I am afraid about this answer. I wrote this problem in the CS 1.6 Steam forum, but two people answered that they could load a HTTPS page in MOTD, may they lied.

Ohh sorry, may I provided the information a bit weird, I known that the problem was caused by the HTTPS, protocol, but I hoped there is an avaiable trick to show the page under this security layer. Thank you for your answer.

I opened a new Issue ticket on GitHub, may they can give me more information about this or implement a new browser in the game.

Yes and my answer is correct, unless you can prove otherwise.

Well, I tested it with my test server with a webpage (direct URL in motd.txt) and it didn't work for me. As far as I know, the page wasn't protected by cloudflare and I didn't use a redirect so only the HTTPS was the change from the normal HTTP version of the page.

Well, I now got the answer, very interesting bytheway:
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues/2587

So CS 1.6 use Chromium Embedded Framework 1 and it does not support the HTTPS protocol.

I wasn't denying the correctness of your reply, I was just reminding you to read it to the end since it looked like you missed the part where he mentioned that it works with HTTP.
